Crisis – a time for creativity?

29 May 2007
GREEN communcations’ Andy Green took to the conference stage to highlight the role of creativity in crisis situtaions.
When the crisis happens the best laid plans can go out of the window. The crisis you face doesn’t quite fit the scenario you planned for. The need for creative, flexible thinking is paramount in a crisis argued Andy in one of the UK’s biggest events on the subject, held in Manchester this month. In a lively and entertaining session Andy shared some profound insights, provided new tools and processes and related experiences to enable delegates to work most effectively in a crisis. He highlighted how a crisis can also offer opportunities not just to minimise the negative but also transform the situation into your best possible opportunitites. Using material from his latest book ‘Effective Personal Communication Skills for Public Relations’ Andy also highlighted the key personal qualities required to deal with crisis situations. GREEN provides dedicated crisis public relations support for a number of major blue chip names. ENDS
