PR defended by Green

19 Feb 2010
GREEN Communications' Andy Green will be defending the public relations industry against charges of undermining the future of journalism at a special debate being held by the University of Lincoln.
Andy, a partner at GREEN will be teaming up with the University’s Peter Smith to counter the views put forward by Anita Raghaven, a writer for Forbes magazine and Marc Wadsworth, a citizen journalist and editor of The Latest. The debate will explore how much are public relations people are responsible for undermining healthy journalism. The audience will be a mix of PR and journalism students, academics and practitioners. It starts at 6.15pm in the CargillLlecture Theatre in the main academic building at the University of Lincoln. The appearance by Andy at the university follows a well-received contribution by Ian Green on social media and its impact on the future of communications.
